Email deliverability that reaches the inbox
Authenticate your own sending domain with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, let Boostmail suppress bounces and complaints automatically, and give every subscriber a one-click unsubscribe.
Deliverability is the difference between a campaign and a wasted send
Email deliverability is the share of your messages that actually reach the inbox instead of the spam folder or a silent block. Boostmail covers the basics that mailbox providers look for: you authenticate your own sending domain with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, bounces and spam complaints are suppressed automatically, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. For a Shopify store, those basics are what let the rest of your email program work.
You can see your sender domain status in the app, and suppression runs on its own, so keeping your list clean is not a manual chore.
Why the basics matter
Every message that lands in spam is one nobody gets the chance to open. Deliverability sits underneath every other email metric: the same list and the same email earn very different results depending on how much of it reaches the inbox.
It is also a moving target. Starting in 2024, Gmail and Yahoo tightened the rules for bulk senders, and Microsoft followed, requiring proper authentication, easy unsubscribes, and low complaint rates. Domain authentication, one-click unsubscribe, and automatic complaint suppression in Boostmail are built around those requirements.
How Boostmail helps you reach the inbox
Four pieces work together so good sending habits are the default.
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication
These three records prove your email is really from you. Boostmail lets you authenticate your own sending domain with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and shows your sender domain status, so you can see when your domain is ready to send.
Bounce and complaint handling
Addresses that bounce and people who mark your email as spam are suppressed automatically, so you stop mailing the contacts who hurt your sender reputation, with no manual list scrubbing.
One-click unsubscribe
Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and the choice syncs back to Shopify. Making it easy to leave keeps complaints down and your list honest.
List health and engagement
Sending to people who actually open is one of the biggest deliverability levers. Segment by email engagement to focus on the subscribers who want to hear from you.
Authentication, decoded
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are the three records mailbox providers check before they trust your mail. You add them to your domain's DNS and Boostmail shows your sender domain status. Here is what each one does.
- SPF
- Lists the servers allowed to send email for your domain, so a receiver can confirm the message came from a sanctioned source.
- DKIM
- Adds a cryptographic signature to every message so the receiver can verify it was not altered and genuinely came from your domain.
- DMARC
- Tells receivers what to do when a message fails SPF or DKIM, protecting your domain from spoofing and phishing that would otherwise poison your reputation.
Deliverability and your campaigns work together
Deliverability is the foundation every send stands on. The segmentation that targets your email campaigns also helps protect your sender reputation, and the same automatic suppression applies to your triggered campaigns, like abandoned cart reminders and the welcome email.
